My story is not uncommon. In 2008, the financial crisis eliminated my job, just when I was thinking about starting a family. I could not continue 60-hour workweeks, exchanging time with my children for business trips, managing endless schedule conflicts. . . . And, I needed to earn more money.
I made a decision to take control of my life—to do work that I love while still having time for my family.
Since becoming a social impact consultant, I have:
